Food lovers rejoice because you’re in for a tasty treat at Howies Chapel Street… This week sees the launch of our brand new menu and we couldn’t be more excited for you all to dig in. Whilst the favourites remain (including haggis, neeps & tatties, Cullen Skink and haddock & chips), we’ve introduced a host of brand new dishes for you to savour at both lunch and dinner.
So what’s on the menu? Scottish smoked salmon with capers, dill, lemon & oat brown bread; Smoked trout paté with horseradish sour cream & oatcakes and Cauliflower & cumin fritter with roast squash, pomegranate & spicy lentil salad (vegan) are just a few of our new starters.
For the main event, we’ve really mixed things up with winter warmers and healthy bowls. Chargrilled Scottish steak frites with garlic butter & watercress has to be one of our absolute favourites at lunch time, and we’re absolutely loving the Vietnamese noodle & pickled vegetable salad with toasted cashews, soy lime & chilli coriander dressing (oh and this one’s vegan too!).
If you love a sweet treat then you’ll love Poached & stewed rhubarb with homemade granola crunch, coconut milk anglaise & black fruit sorbet (another vegan favourite), which sits alongside our famous Howies banoffee pie and sticky toffee pudding with vanilla ice cream.
And the best bit? Some of our new dishes are available on our Aberdeen Restaurant Menu! Available from 24th – 29th February 2020.
