Each Howies restaurant has its own style.
From their interesting and unique buildings, through to their decor,
ambiance and individual menus. Although all Howies restaurants share
the same ethos of excellent local produce served at an affordable
price, our chefs have the freedom to create their own monthly menus.
Pop into Bruntsfield for a deliciously healthy smoothie or read the
Sunday papers over a, not-so-healthy but yummy, brunch. If it's a
celebration party you're organising you might consider the spacious
grandure of our Waterloo Place restaurant. A favourite for weddings,
we even have a licence for civil ceremonies.

The Chicken and Egg Conundrum.
We don’t think it’s hard at Howies - both should come first. Which is why all our chicken and eggs are free range.
Our beef and game all comes from Scottish farms and we use local Edinburgh suppliers for our cheese, bread and fish.
We believe it is our job to promote the fabulous larder on offer in Scotland and we will continue to work with localsuppliers to do so.
It’s your job to just get on and enjoy it!
