Today sees the launch of an all new gourmet burger menu at our Chapel Street restaurant! Five glorious burgers – including the Lamb Kofta, Portobello and Lean Turkey – all piled high with your favourite toppings and served with salad & fries.

And, if you’re feeling up to the challenge, you could always take on the Howies House Burger – a double Scotch beef burger with crispy shallots, Isle of Mull cheddar, Ayrshire middle bacon & fried egg.

Last week we officially kicked off our Christmas campaign at Howies Aberdeen! Over seventy people joined us for an evening of festive fizz, canapés and to find out what’s in store for Christmas 2016. We were also joined by Alliance Wines who conducted wine tastings throughout the evening and were treated to an amazing acoustic set by Lizzy, a member of our team at Howies!

We don’t know if you noticed but we’ve been looking a little different lately…  After 25 years of original Howies branding, we decided it was high time to give ourselves a little makeover!

Working with local talent – Ryan Strachan (you can check out his other work here) – we developed a complete set of new clothes, including a new logo, menu and uniforms. And not that we like to toot our own horn, we think we look pretty darn great.

On Thursday 16th June 2016 Howies Aberdeen was awarded Highly Commended at the Trend Magazine Life with Style Awards.

Winning highly commended for best place to eat in Aberdeen was a fantastic achievement, highlighting the unwavering commitment by Jordan Will (General Manager), Stuart Galloway (Head Chef) and the whole team to bring a fantastic dining experience to the granite city!

Well this week’s been a pretty exciting one for Howies Chapel Street as they’ve been shortlisted for a Trend Magazine Life with Style Award!

Nominated for Best Place to Eat in Aberdeen, Wednesday night saw us invited to Norwood Hall Hotel to meet the judges and tell them why we should win the award – nerve wracking stuff! Now all we need to do is wait for the Gala Awards Dinner where the winner will be announced.

It’s officially spring and we are loving the longer evenings and warmer climate (the latter part isn’t strictly true but work with us here). And with a new season, comes a new menu at Waterloo Place!

Following many tastings (and expanding waistlines), a host of new dishes are taking pride of place on the menu from April.
