We’re opening early this 6 Nations so you’ll have plenty of time to get into match mode. Both Waterloo Place and Victoria Street will be opening for lunch from 11.30am giving you the perfect opportunity to enjoy seasonal, Scottish produce (and perhaps a wine or two) before kick off!

This Wednesday (25th January), we’re celebrating Burns night with a menu featuring some of our favourite flavours – haggis, cock-a-leekie, clapshot, Cullen skink, skirlie, cranachan & whisky – you really can’t get much more Scottish than that! Three courses will set you back£19.95 and we’ll have a host of whisky cocktails on the night so you can make a proper toast to our National Bard.

Yesterday (Wednesday 5 October) saw the launch of our new seasonal menus across Howies Restaurants! After much research, tastings and a few extra pounds in weight, our chefs have seriously come up trumps this autumn.

So what’s new on the menu? Well venison is back (we’re well known for our venison) from our estate in Glen Lyon in Perthshire. We can trace the exact steps of our venison,  in fact owner of Howies David Howie Scott can set his watch to exactly where the deer is and when it will …

Today sees the launch of an all new gourmet burger menu at our Chapel Street restaurant! Five glorious burgers – including the Lamb Kofta, Portobello and Lean Turkey – all piled high with your favourite toppings and served with salad & fries.

And, if you’re feeling up to the challenge, you could always take on the Howies House Burger – a double Scotch beef burger with crispy shallots, Isle of Mull cheddar, Ayrshire middle bacon & fried egg.

Last week we officially kicked off our Christmas campaign at Howies Aberdeen! Over seventy people joined us for an evening of festive fizz, canapés and to find out what’s in store for Christmas 2016. We were also joined by Alliance Wines who conducted wine tastings throughout the evening and were treated to an amazing acoustic set by Lizzy, a member of our team at Howies!
