2010 sees Howies celebrating its 20th birthday! Since our humble beginnings in a wee site in St Leonards Street we have gone from strength to strength and now boast 5 excellent restaurants in Scotland, each one unique and individual. We will be marking this special year with parties and special offers, so keep an eye on the website!
 Each Howies restaurant develops their own menu allowing individual chefs the freedom to establish his or her own reputation. This is the reason Howies dislikes being called a 'chain' as they clearly are not.
The locations are spread evenly throughout the city offering diners a handy option wherever they  are, and most of our restaurants have disabled access. For your convenience we accept Visa, American Express, Access, Switch and JCB. Free WiFi is available at each restaurant, just ask your server.
Howies were voted The List readers favourite restaurant. and more recently the Hi-Life Diners Club Best Restaurant in Scotland. They are also included in Scotland The Best, Taste of Scotland, The Good Food Guide and various other listings and publications.
